This issue Can occurs because the Autodiscover process that’s used by Outlook receives an unexpected result from a third-party web server when it performs the root domain lookup.

To workaround this behaver you can try :

1. At your Window Start, search Registry Editor and run it as an Admin

2. Locate this path : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity, then carefully add the following DWORD-32 value keys by right-clicking on a blank space of the Identity folder section on the right. Please rename every key then modify the values to the correspondent ones in brackets :

EnableADAL (value as 1)

DisableADALatopWAMOverride (value as 1)

DisableAADWAM (value as 1)

In Outlook location Autodiscover

DWORD: PreferLocalXML

Value: 0

DWORD: ExcludeLastKnownGoodURL

Value: 1

DWORD: ExcludeHttpsRootDomain

Value: 1

DWORD: ExcludeSrvRecord

Value: 1

DWORD: ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint

Value: 0

Then Please go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity.

In Identities remove all the subfolders (** Do not remove the Identities folder, only the subfolders**).

Restart your Computer ant check if it solve the error.

Third solution
==========

Open outlook profiles (In Control Panel, search Mail (Microsoft Outlook)), and select it , then create a new outlook profile to the user (Don’t forget to apply any PST file or other Custom configuration )

*** don’t forget to use the new created profile.

Last solution
==========

Create a new Windows User profile and try to create new fresh outlook profile.

As always test any solution before you try it on production.
