Microsoft announce the first standalone offering of Microsoft Teams designed specifically with small businesses .
Microsoft Teams Essentials will be priced at $4 per user per month , and provides expansive limits and features for hosting professional meetings and collaborating in one place:
- Unlimited group meetings for up to 30 hours
- Meetings with up to 300 people
- 10 GB of cloud storage per user
- Calendar integration—In addition to integration with Outlook Calendar, the new Google Calendar integration in Microsoft Teams means you can use your existing calendaring tool to stay on top of schedules and manage your meetings. *Google Calendar integration coming soon and also a new small business group chat template
Microsoft Teams Essentials it’s more targeted at businesses that rely on apps like Teams or Zoom for video calling and meetings. You can invite anyone to a meeting by using their email address. They will receive a link to join the meeting. If they don’t have Teams installed on their device, the meeting will open directly in their browser. They don’t need to sign in anywhere.
