Pinning Emails
Pinning an Email
- Open Outlook: Launch the new Outlook for Windows app.
- Find the Email: Navigate to the email you want to pin.
- Pin the Email:
- Quick Action Icon: Click the pin icon that appears when you hover over the email.
- Right-Click Menu: Right-click the email and select “Pin” from the context menu.
- Ribbon Option: Select the email and click the “Pin” button on the ribbon.
Unpinning an Email
- Open Outlook: Ensure you are in the new Outlook for Windows app.
- Find the Pinned Email: Locate the email at the top of your inbox.
- Unpin the Email:
- Quick Action Icon: Click the unpin icon on the email.
- Right-Click Menu: Right-click the email and select “Unpin” from the context menu.
- Ribbon Option: Select the email and click the “Unpin” button on the ribbon.
Snooze Emails
How to Snooze Emails
- Open Outlook: Launch the new Outlook for Windows app.
- Select the Email: Click on the email you want to snooze.
- Snooze the Email:
- Ribbon Option: Click the clock icon in the top Outlook ribbon bar.
- Right-Click Menu: Right-click the email and select “Snooze” from the context menu.
- Choose a Time: Select a predefined time or choose a custom date and time for the email to reappear in your inbox12.
Viewing Snoozed Emails
- Snoozed Folder: After snoozing an email, it will be moved to the “Snoozed” folder. The email will return to your inbox at the specified time2.
This feature is great for postponing emails until you have time to address them, helping you maintain a cleaner and more organized inbox.
